I can NOT even believe I am creating this post...HOW IN THE WORLD DID WE GET HERE?!
Ella 12th month was very eventful...
Nonnie treated us to our annual Sesame Street Live concert
We had another "snow" day off of school.
It did flurry a little and Ava was able to enjoy it for a minute or two.
Mommy...where is the snow?!
To keep busy we made paper snowflakes and bubble painting pictures.
Ava is such a little Mommy Bear. Ella LOVES her big sister and is starting to copy her every move!
I think we know what Ella wants for Christmas!
Ella's cold got worse (she had been sick for 2 + weeks already) and she started wheezing (on a Friday night). I immediately knew it was RSV and called the on-call doctor first thing in the morning (on Saturday). We rushed to the office and got there before the doors opened to find out...it was RSV! Ella was a trooper at the office and was her usual happy, smiling self! We were told to give her the breathing treatments every 4 hours (during the day) for 2 weeks then as needed for the next month. As of now (over a month later), she will still cough at night but no other RSV problems.
We caught her RSV very early and now that she is 16.7 pounds and almost 1 years old, the virus didn't take over as bad as it would've if she was a newborn.
This picture was the same day as her appointment...
We even went out for a girls only sushi dinner with Madi and Misty!
The next day, she was just as happy! She never ran a fever so we went on with our usual weekend routines. She did very well at church and stayed on her normal schedules.
Uncle Andres and Aunt Nicki were in town for a quick weekend tip so we all went to dinner at Uncle Ryan's restaurant, Pappa's Burgers!
Ella's first Super Bowl Sunday!
Prince Daddy, escorted the girls to the annual RPS Father-Daughter Dance! I tagged along to take a some pictures and let Ella have her first dance with her Daddy then I took her home for bed and let Ava have her night out at the Ball!
Ella's 3rd and 4th teeth popped out, both top middle, so we celebrated by brushing her teeth for the first time! Naturally, she loved it and didn't want us to take the tooth brush away.
Happy 1st Valentine's Day (and Eve)!
"Valentine, you're my main SQUEEZE!"
traditional heart pizza, love potion (strawberry pop), and heart strawberries
Isn't she just so KISSABLE!!!!!
Our Curtain of Love!
Family Flashback: 2013
The weather is starting to warm up a little bit so we took advantage of the ark next to the baseball practice field!
'Twas the Night Before Ella's 1st Birthday!
Happy 1st Birthday to our Little Angel Baby!!!!!!
We celebrated with her school friends with some mini cupcakes!
Her birthday gift from Mommy and Daddy (just as Colin and Ava's) was her "movie" chair!
She LOVED her new chair! What a big girl...still doesn't seem real that Ella is 1!
