Ella's 8th month went by even faster than all the rest. I feel like I blinked and it was Halloween...
She experienced a few more "firsts" this month!
One being, her first Parade (Ft. Bend. Co.) with Toby and Erica.
Ella got her first fever on October 8! I took her to the doctor and it turned out to be...nothing. It was just a "virus" that resulted in a fever for a little more than 24 hours. She was eating normally and just as happy as always! You would've never know she was "sick".
She stayed home from school the next day with Nonnie and Papa. Ella was spoiled and had them all to herself and accomplished 2 more "firsts".
She sat in the big girl patio chair
and took a walk to check the mailbox in the stroller...without the car seat carrier! She was strapped in!
The picture below, is both Ava and Ella at 7 1/2 months old sitting in the same stroller!
She sat in her first restaurant high chair when we went out for a pizza date with the Carter's and Schlangen's. She did great! Ava and I kept feeding her puffs and yogurt melts to keep her entertained. :)
We took our annual family trip (Ella's first) to Dewberry Farms on October 14th.
Ella carved her first pumpkin with Bubby and Sissy on her 8th month birthday!
Ella and Ava are becoming Best Friends! Ava tells Ella that often... "Ella, you are my best friend! I love you SOOOO much!!!". It melts my heart every time! I truly believe that a girl NEEDS a sister! I am beyond blessed with having two!
We celebrated Grandma Willetts' birthday.
Ella tried out a few new "table foods"... we can't try much yet because she doesn't have any teeth...
crackers on Sept. 27
pancakes on Sept. 28
and frosting on Sept. 29
We went to Nonnie and Papa's house to bake and decorate Halloween Sugar Cookies
Sugar high!!! Silly Baby :)
Ella is doing better with getting puffs and yogurt melts INTO her mouth. If they are by her thumb she can get them in, but she's still having a little trouble when the snack is in her palm or the back of her hand.
Daddy's birthday was a GREAT one! He turned 36 and we celebrated at home with family and pizza.
Daddy's girl...she has a sweet tooth already. :)
We liked cuddling with our Bitty Baby
Ella is enjoying tummy time alittle more everyday but still is not pulling her legs up to crawl. She could get just about anywhere by rolling...
The baby food is really helping our "under percentile" baby get on the charts... She's getting so chubby! I LOVE IT!!!
Ella found her feet!!!!!!!!!!! Finally. And now she doesn't stop playing with them, she always pulls off her socks!!
Ella and I get a little time alone every Wednesday night when Daddy takes the other kids to bible study. I think she's starting to look a little more like me...what do you think?
I can't get over how many things she puts in her mouth...GEEZ!
The BEST day of this month was when we Dedicated our Angel Baby at RPC on October 13!
8 month photo shoot

Ella Grace @ 8 months old:
drinking: 5-6 oz
every 3 hours
eating: breakfast:
fruit, lunch:veggie and rice cereal, dinner:meat and veggie combo
She is startin to eat another babyfood at dinner! My little Piggy!
weighs: ??? We totaly skipped out on weighing her. OOPS :(
diapers: Pampers
Swaddlers size 2
clothes: 6 months
She really hasn't grown in size this last month but she does feel heavier and is defintaly filling out her clothes more!!
Her sleeping habits are still wonderful! Ella has been sleeping through the night for months, however, she will have a few days in a row of waking up for a "mid-night/3 AM snack". Ava went through a phase like this too but it was from 5-6 months. (which actually does match Ella becuase she was 2 months early...)
Now to try and catch up on the next 3 months...
