One of our Christmas traditions, with the Willetts and Raimondo families, is to attend River Pointe's Christmas Eve service.
Colin and Ava always enjoy the music and the candle lit service!
sweetest Christmas gifts EVER!
After church we went home as a family of 4 1/2 for dinner and to get ready for Santa and his reindeer.
George left the kids a Christmas Eve gift!
I hope and pray that these two are FOREVER this loving and precious!
They each sampled picked out a cookie to leave for Santa.
Then we needed to take care of the reindeer.
The kids counted out 9 carrots and 9 pieces of celery each.
Ava's counting was loud and accurate, but kept going to 14, 15, 19, 11, 12....
We put the plates outside for Rudolph and his friends.
George sent us some Magical Reindeer Food to sprinkle in the grass but it was dark and wet so Colin suggested that we just sprinkle it onto the plates.
He's making his wish...
This year we started a new Christmas Eve tradition!
~family movie night~
We popped some popcorn, set up the pull-out sofa, and got comfy to watch our new movie, Arthur Christmas. They both brought a "date". Colin invited his longhorn and Ava invited Ariel and her Baby. Colin was tired and fell asleep about 30 minutes in. Ava, on the other hand, was ALL OVER THE PLACE! It took us awhile to settle her down and get her to bed. Oh, the joys of Christmas in the eyes of a child!
Looks like Santa and his reindeer enjoyed their treats. :)
Merry Christmas to All and to All a Good Night!
