We like to celebrate the end of school and beginning of summer on the last day of school.

We went with the same idea for this years gifts...a tub-o-summer fun! They each got a new kite, a Penguin ZipPet for the pool, new play dough, water guns, inner tubes, and beach toys.
Colin got an extra gift of a new fishing pole, bait and a keepsake memory book from Nonnie and Papa.
We surprised Mrs. M with this yummy "thank you" for everything she's done for Colin this year.
After school we let Colin chose were he wanted to go out to eat...

After dinner (and a much need bath) we gave the kids' their gift.
They love the element of surprise so they close their eyes EVERYTIME!
Daddy made Colin a "1st grade" cake but I didn't get a picture of the finished product. Colin loved it and was thankful for Daddy's cake decorating talents!
Miss Ella enjoyed watching all of the festivities. :)
