home for the holidays

AUNT NICKI IS HOME FROM COSTA RICA! We missed her more then words can say! She has been away since August mentoring HS kids through the Young Life program and is really putting God's blessing at work. You can check out her adventures here. She is so amazing!!! Nicki travels back to CR in January so we are trying to spend as much quality time with her as possible.

Before Christmas we had a sleep-over/movie night with Aunt Nicki and the kids had a blast! Colin was so excited...I am surprised he even sat down to take a picture...or even to just watch the movie.

As you can see... Ava couldn't get enough popcorn...

We also HAD TO squeeze in a mani/pedi morning before the hustle and bustle of Christmas. We took Ava along to see how she'd do and surprisingly enough, she let the nail ladies file AND paint her toes nails!

We are so greatful that Nicki is home for the holidays! I wish she was home for good but I know she is fulfilling one of her many dreams and we wish her well everyday.
