Emily's Highschool Graduation

We finally made it to Arkansas!
It's a good thing for Emily graduating high school or we may have never seen Jamie and Melissa's AMAZING house!

Emily graduated on Saturday May 19 from Bentonville HS.
The ceremony was at the University of Arkansas,
which was very fitting since Emily will attend there in the fall!

We had a fast and furious weekend....
we arrived in AR close to midnight on Friday.
The kids did sooooo good on the plane, even though it was way past their bed times.
We fed them right before the flight, brought the iPad, and it helped that the flight was only an hour.

Ava was SO EXCITED to get on the plane! Colin too, but we were worried about Sugar Bear.
She wanted to do everything Colin did...surprise, surprise.

She wanted to sit on Bubby's lap!
They both watched the whole take-off out the window and kept telling us "Look Look!" when they saw something fun/cool!

Saturday was a bright and early morning!
Graduation was at 9 AM and we didn't get to bed until almost 2 AM.
Coffee?...YES PLEASE!

Ava + Ginger = BFF

Whoooo  Sooooowwweeee   PIG!

After graduation, we went out for a pizza lunch.

The rest of the day was spent getting ready for the party (for the adults)
and playing with the cousins and keeping busy (for the kids).

IT'S PARTY TIME!

On Sunday we were finally able to just sit and enjoy each other's company.

The plane ride home was another successful trip. Both of the kids took a nap on the way to the airport and we bought some snacks and a little "airport souvenir" before we got on the plane.
When we landed in Houston, Colin asked the flight attendant for more napkins that he could keep because a map of the USA was on them. As we were walking through the terminals, he told me that we needed to stop and take a picture of him and Ava with their backpacks on and the USA napkins.
Sweet boy!

I am so glad we had to opportunity to visit Jamie, Melissa, Emily and Parker and celebrate E's graduation with them!
