Rookie 6 Yankees: End of Season celebrations

What a season we has as the Rookie 6 Yankees!!!!
There was no other way to go out then with a BANG!

Before the last game we met as a team and presented the kids with their trophies,
the coaches with a photo book from the seasons highlights, and
enjoyed some cookies and cupcakes (thanks Holly).

The coaches presented me with a bouquet of flowers,
a team photo with the kids signatures and
a massage and facial gift card!

PS: We won our last game against the Braves!

When we got home, Colin was surprised with a little gift.
For all of his hard work and dedication this season, we bought him
a Yankees jenga game, The Sandlot and Rookie of the Year movies, a Dinosaur Baseball picture book and a bracelet made out of baseball stitching.

On sat. May 26th, we all attending the Sugarland Skeeters game!
Pete and I thought of this team event during the season and luckily everyone was able to attend!
The kids had a GREAT time.
Our team name was printed on the tickets, we were announced and displayed on the big Texas screen and the kids got to run the bases after the game.

I FULLY embraced and enjoyed being the team Mom for the Yankees this season!
We had a great team of kids and parents and I wouldn't ask for a better experience.
Our team was full of friends, old and new, and I am going to miss them next spring when we all get divided up (because there are try-outs).
:(
My BFFs Belinda and Susanna took me out to dinner at Benihana as a
THANK YOU!
Aren't they so awesome and sweet!
They also bought me the CUTEST baseball bling necklace, bracelet and shirt!!!!

This season was a BLAST....
but now it's on to football...
GO TEXANS!
