bunnies and longhorns

During spring break, we spent a morning in the First Colony Mall visiting the Easter bunny and treating the kids to the Build-a-Bear workshop.

Ava is not to fond of mascots so we knew our chances of a smile were slim (good thing Mommy was picture ready). She would wave at him, say "Hi Bunny" and blow him kisses but refused to sit next to him. Colin was trying to get her excited too. He kept telling her how nice the bunny is and that they were going to get a prize from him and that on Easter he was gong to bring them eggs to find and basket of fun Easter stuff.

She is still watching the bunny to make sure he doesn't try anything tricky...

Colin has 2 build-a-bears.
~Colin Jr, the Batman Bear~

and
~James (c's middle name) the dog~

This was Ava's fist time to the build-a-bear factory and she INSTANTLY FELL.IN.LOVE!

There were a few other animals the kids liked too (a little doggy or pink bear for Ava and a camo bear for Colin) but when all was said and done, the chose a longhorn and a bunny!

She already loves her! sweet baby!

It is my pleasure to introduce to you,
Tim Tebow the longhorn
and
Thumper the bunny!

Oh how time flies....
