spring break 2012

Seriously...why can't we have a week break every month?...
We had a blast during spring break! There was a lot of quality time spent in the Willetts' household this week! We did a lot of staying up late (and sleeping in), enjoying the comforts of home cooked meals, played with the neighbors and "having a fun spring break" (quote by CW).
It started with the rodeo and we kept on havin' fun from there. :)
On Tuesday I took Miss A to Mary Jo Peckham park in Katy to feed the ducks and play. We stayed for 2 hours! She had a blast chasing feeding the ducks and exploring the playground.  PS: Is her pony-tale not the cutest thing ever?! She looks like such a big girl.

On Wednesday we paid a visit to the Easter Bunny and went to Build-a-Bear (post coming soon) and ate lunch with Cousin Derek at All Stars Family Grill.

After lunch we enjoyed an afternoon at home filled with snow cones, jumping on the trampoline and going to the neighborhood park.

On Thursday we took a quick trip to the dollar store to buy new bubble wands and a few other "fun spring break activities" (again, a quote from CW).

We ate lunch with our BFFs at Carter's house.
On Friday we took a family trip to Mary Jo Peckham park to go fishing.
We were blowing bubbles while we were waiting for Daddy to set up the fishing equipment and Colin said "We just keep having fun spring break days!" ...this is why we run our selves tired...for the kids. We also feed the ducks and had a picnic at the park. :)

When were getting dressed, Colin saud that they had to wear "fishing" clothes. So, he has fish and ocean animals on his shirt and Ava has on a fishy belt...below is her showing me. LOL.

Colin caught a fish!!!!!

Ava didn't like it too much...

After fishing, Colin and Daddy went on a boys date to see The Lorax 3D.

Saturday was St. Patrick's Day (post coming soon) and we had a lot of green fun!
For dinner we went down the street to the Flores'...you don't need much to entertain all of us...play-dough, a large paper bag, and an exercise ball

On Sunday we went to church and talked with the chickens.

Ava discovered dandelions....

...and water guns!

We had a SUPER fun but we were WORN OUT by Sunday evening...

We can't wait until summer when we can have this kind of fun everyday!!!
