April 2013

April was spent at home with my two beautiful angel daughters!
WARNING: baby girl picture OVERLOAD!!!!

We did A LOT of relaxing and cuddling with our new baby.

Ava is on the left, Ella is on the right!

She is wearing her "take home onesie" I can't believe how well she is filling it out here. What a difference a few weeks make!

my favorite kind of arm party!

its true...

her first "nap" in her crib...

matching coral orange and hot pinks :)

Nonnie and Papa were frequent visitors (or we would go to their house).

Girls just want to have fun!

This is our FIRST WALK :)
Ava and Ella are wearing matching monkey shirts :)

Ava picked all of these flowers and gave them to Ella while on our walk around our street.

Ella had a busy day...we went to eat a quick dinner around the corner, this was her first trip out. :)

Ava is SUCH a little mommy BIG helper!!!

We found a turtle in Papa and Nonnie's pool!
Ava named him Tommy and now he lives in an aquarium at our house!

Willetts babies...Party of 3!

fruit loop necklaces on a rainy evening after school

The most STYLISH cowgirl I've ever seen!

Colin and Ava had their first sleep-over in Colin's bunk bed!
There are about 10-15 "pets" sleeping with them too!
PRECIOUS MOMENT!!!

Ella started waving her arms a lot and hitting her toys under the play gym!
(side note...she is still wearing a preemie outfit here)

and....she's done!

Nonnie and Papa said good bye to their 12 year old Explorer and HELLO to a BRAND NEW Edge!

Baseball is our game...we start them early...

i am IN LOVE with this picture of C and E!

We went to The Main Event with the Schlangen's and had a blast!

Ava got to stay home with me and Ella during my maternity leave and we had a lot of fun!

These princess coloring pages were part of her big sister gift...Daddy hated them because the glitter got EVERYWHERE!

Ava can write her name!!!!

coloring "Easter" eggs ;)

Ava dressed herself...zebra dress, jeggings, cowgirl boots, and an Ariel clip in her hair.

making her shopping list: strawberries, Popsicles, and milk

going for a walk with her baby, tiger and PHONE!

visiting the crazy dogs down the street

Ava was quiet for a few minutes (playing in her room) and I walked into this...
she is taking care of her baby because she was crying (quote from Mommy Ava herself)

Ms. Diva Ava

mani-pedi's with Mommy :)

Ava made this jumping pad and started jumping and crawling while singing ABC's and nursery rhymes

borrowing sissy's baby stuff...

somebody is ready for the beach

we build "tents" to watch our shows

Ella (finally) met Aunt Holly a few days after she came home.

we had many play dates with Chloe, Ava's BBF

We went to Chloe's dance recital and Ava LOVED watching the girls dancing. She didn't want to leave, she literally cried because the show was over. So...we didn't get a picture of Ava and Chloe together because she was upset and refused. :(

Mommy had an afternoon out with Aunt Lindsay! We went to lunch and ran a few errands...it was a fun and much needed few house out of the house (for both of us!).

Lindsay found this picture of us from high school...

Painted Grilled Cheeses are a favorite dinner around these parts!

Ella got to meet "Aunt Kendall" and all of Ava's friends from school!

We went to the Shrine Circus with The Schmitt's but left Ella with Nonnie and Papa. In spite of the downpour of thunder and rain, we had a great time. The boys rode an Elephant!!!! and got tons of autographs from the clowns. Ava rode a pony (of course) and wanted NOTHING to do with the clowns. HA!

Colin and Carter were apart of a Chevron Baseball Camp hosted at Minute Maid Park!

my girls NEED this onesie/shirt!

I volunteered at Colin's school to read a book to the class.
He chose this one from our home library and it was a HIT!

What an amazing woman and doctor this lady is!!! She is such a blessing in my and the girls lives...I couldn't have done any of this "pregnancy" stuff without her!
