I can't believe my eyes...Colin's first grade year is OVER! In just a few short months, I will have a SECOND GRADER?!
The first grade celebration of learning was held in the morning and in each classroom. This was great because the teachers could create their presentations for JUST their class.
Colin was all smiles when Pete and I walked into his room. :) It's so great to have those special mini-moments with our son! To better give him all our attention, we left the girls with Nonnie and Papa.
Colin's "fun" award from Mrs. M was "Best Smile"! :) She said he always has a smile on his face and is always happy. That's my boy!
He also received A/B honor roll (with only 1 B the whole year) and the Principal's Award (for great behavior throughout the year).
His class voted him as Best Athletic Boy...again...not surprised. :)

He's sad that 1st grade is over.
Pete and I each took the morning off so we were also able to have lunch with Colin too. His lunch time was 10:38 AM...more like brunch.
He loves telling jokes at home that he stole from the milk cartons.
After school, to celebrate his awesomeness, we went to Chuck E Cheese's!
This is truly one of his favorite places on Earth! He has figured out how to hit the jackpot on 2 of the games and has earned at least 2,000 tickets in the last 3 times we've gone. I don't know if this is a good or bad thing for when he at the legal age to gamble...
Ella was a perfect little angel and slept, literally, the WHOLE time!
We are SO PROUD of Colin and thank God everyday for what a bright, talented and AMAZING young man he has become!
