ducks, catfish, and seaweed, OH MY!

Uncle Andrew treated us to a morning of fishing at Mary Jo Peckham park nack in May. We love spending quality time together and having little fishing trips. Colin and Ava both got new poles for Easter, and we FINALLY got to use them.

my beautiful girls all ready for our day in the sun

The BIG catch of the day...

what a little ham!

I didn't get many pictures of Colin fishing because either I was chasing after Ava and the ducks or he reeled in his line too quick. He has no patients for fishing, he won't let his line just sit there. LOL. I guess it's all that 7 year old energy he has....can't sit still for more than a few minutes.
Oh and he is wearing a Sea World hat because it's the only "fishing" hat he has. I guess we need to go to Academy and get him one...

Ava is an animal lover and would've picked up the ducks and hand fed them if she could.

Colin wanted some cereal too! LOL!

We had a fantastic time with Uncle Andrew and are so thankful we got time with him all by ourselves. :) He is such a wonderful Uncle to our kids and treats them as if they were his own!
Colin and Andrew are one in the same and a VERY similar life story. Their relationship is like nobody's in the family and I KNOW God had this all planned for the boys many years ago!
