Aunt Nicki has many-a-pictures just like these!
We are so blessed to have RPC!!!!!
The house across the street sold and we have a new friends, Sonny and Tristian!
Colin and Carter had a summer sleepover.
They played many games of Little League Baseball on the Wii,
and "went to the movies".
Ava better find herself a rich man....
The kids have inherited their Grandmothers' musical talents.
Ava's love for babies and dolls grows each and every day.
She is becoming such a good "mommy".
Each of her babies has a bottle, a blanket and is watching HOP.
After the movie, they took a nap... SHHHH
The kids spent some of their piggy bank money at the dollar store.
Ava bought an Elmo checkers/tic tac toe game.
Colin bought a "bouncy ball collection tub"...He is interested in COLLECTIONS now.
Any kind...bouncy balls, leaves, pencils, flat pennies, "decorative" rocks and stones, left over (unused) birthday party napkins, baseballs...
really...ANYTHING can be a collection.
Chloe and Olivia had their first dance recital on the 9th!
They were SO PRECIOUS!
Olivia was her out-going self and was dancing her little heart out.
After baseball camp day 3, we went for a quick McDonald's lunch with the Flores kids.
Summer has also come with playing "musical houese" with the nieghbors and trying to keep the kids busy indoors.
Ava is getting too big for her britches!
Yes...she is DRIVING the truck
Colin had a dentist apt and got a few extra treats because he is cavity FREE!!!
Mommy and Colin went on an ice cream date to Orange Leaf.
When he came home, he shared his stickers with Ava.
And he picked out a toothbrush for her too.
SWEET BOY!!!!
The kids enjoyed (another) glow stick bath!
this time is was patriotic :)
Aunt Nicki slept over!!!
We had a great time staying up late, drinking a glass of wine, and just having sister talk!
All-Stars Family Grill has been a hot-spot for us this month.
Colin lost his 3rd tooth on the 19th.
...and his 4th tooth on the 26th!!!!
Ava likes to show off her new big girl teeth!
She has both of her bottom 2 yr old molars
Mommy, Colin, and Ava went to Plaster Funhouse in Katy and painted!!!
They both love arts and crafts so I knew this would be a great time for them.
Colin picked out a Stanley Stampede horse and Ava chose Ariel, the Little Mermaid.
Ava wasn't a fan of the apron at first.
Once Colin put his on, she was okay with the idea.
After Ava finished (in 5 minutes) I let her paint on the table, which was covered with paper.
This worked for another 5 minutes until she spilled the water cup...luckly it only spilled on her foot and ALL OVER the floor. Colin was VERY thankful the water missed him and his horse!
We took full advantage of "cheap skate" night at a local skate rink.
I was the only parent who braved the roller rink.
I had a BLAST! I have always loved rollerblading
so this hit the spot for me.
Colin is still a little uneasy on skates but with-in 10 minutes he was keeping up with me and Carter!
Ava could sit on the sidelines for long. I skated with her in my arms for a bit but then she wanted to get down...I let her down so she could run and chance after the boys.
On the 23rd, Mommy and Daddy had a night out with Aunt Nicki and Uncle Andrew.
We went to the Skeeters game and fully embraced an evening without the kids. :)
this is Ava in the car on the way to Nonnie and Papa's house.
Only in Texas will you see a man wearning a TEXAS FLAG shirt signing "God Bless America"!
Gotta LOVE TX PRIDE!!!
Nicki hadn't eaten Dippin' Dots in years! She was due for the treat.
Nonnie sent me his pic at 9:30 PM letting me know that Ava was still awake and still wearing her early birthday gift...
(Nonnie sewed matching dresses for Ava and her bitty baby)
We still go frog hunting, just about every day!
Elizabeth and I wanted to have a picnic lunch together and feed some ducks but with the heat index, it was like 130 105 degress outside! So....we improvised!
The kids and I played "restaurant" the other night!
This was such a fun hour of cooking, taking orders and paying for my meals :)
Colin did a great job cooking and being a waiter.
Ava was snacking a lot and making a GIANT mess!
Now onto July...BTW our calendar is JUST as full!
