Colin turns 7!!!

I can't believe this little pumpkin is 7 YEARS OLD!
Where has time gone?!

Colin's birthday started with Daddy volunteering at school to be a WATCH DOG for the day!
What a fun birthday gift, to spend the day with Daddy.

We sent very specific cupcakes to school for his class.
Colin requested that the boys got blue icing with baseball rings and the girls got pink icing with lalaloopsy rings. Pete said the kids really enjoyed them. :)

Ava and I took the morning off of school and met the boys at SSE for lunch! We brought What-a-burger, balloons and a mini-cake.

a field goal!

Our lunch table!

loving our lunch time together!
This was Ava's first time to have lunch at Bubby's big school!

After school, Grandma and Papa met Colin and Daddy at McDonald's for ice cream and brought balloons and enough donut holes to feed an army.

We decorated Colin's door and his chair at the dinner table.

Daddy and Ava made Colin's birthday cake for after dinner.

Ava got a cake too! Daddy (quickly) drew an Ariel on hers. :) She even got candles and all!

The "happy birthday" song is one of Ava's favorites!

It took a few tries to blow out all of the candles.

Ava's turn! We can't figure out if she is holding her hair back from the candles or if she is copying Colin.
We sang "Happy Unbirthday" to Ava, she loved it anyways!

PARTY TIME!

Gift time!
We have him Texans football cards, a new Yankees hat, clothes, and mini MLB pendants.

A few days after his birthday, his BFFs and cousin Derek had a sleep over.
They played Wii, tag and watched a movie with treats.

Ava wanted to be with them even though it was way beyond her bed time!

Daddy stayed up way beyond his bedtime too finishing Colin's cake for his party.
Maybe their will be a Willetts' Bakery in our future. ;0)

HE LOVS IT!!!!

We had a "Jersey Party" at Chuck E Cheese's with a few friends and our family.

Maddox, Colin and Colton

Cooper, Michael and Aiden

Carter and Colin

The crew!

Ava was excited to be at Chuck E Cheese's too.
I am more than thankful for Aunt Gina and Ryan for being on "Ava duty" for the afternoon!!!

Goof Balls!

Ready to sing Happy Birthday with Chuck E!!!
The party hostess was showing off "her" cake to the rest of the hostesses!

A house divided...New York Yankees and Houston Texans!

Colin had a game plan going into the ticket blaster.
He asked us the bring his pull over so he could wear it to put tickets into his pockets.
He grabbed a lot of tickets, including a coupon for 500 extra tickets!!!

We had a GREAT time at the party. We were happy to spend the afternoon with our closest friends and family! Hopefully we won;t have to go the Chuck E Cheese's again for many a couple of years. ;0)

Ava fell asleep before we even got on to I-10!

The grandparents came over after the party to open gifts.
Colin got a lot of good stuff, including his firsts Big Barrel baseball bat, more football and baseball cards, and some new fun toys.

Happy 7th Birthday to my favorite boy!!!!
