St Patrick's Day 2013

For St. Patrick's Day, we did a lot of celebrating. Nothing involving a Leprechaun or the Luck of the Irish...just some regular Willetts' fun with a green splash!
The kids woke up to a little box of Green Goodies (again this year)!

Ella got a gift too and Colin was able to give it her IN PERSON a few days later!

One evening before St. Patrick's day, this kids helped me decorate. :)

He wanted to make a Leprechaun face...

After breakfast, we met Nonnie, Papa, and Aunt Gina at the park for fishing, a picnic and some park time.

Papa's fishing buddy, Vahn, caught a turtle and some HUGE cat fish!

Ava wasn't a fan...

Ava fed the ducks, while Colin fished with Papa.

He caught one! Too bad none of us saw it. :(
We were on a walk with Ava and when we came back, boy, did they have a story for us!
A bird started to go after the fish and swallowed it! So Papa had to run backwards and pull with all his might  to get the fish out of the bids throat. Within all of that, he ran into a trashcan behind him. But...he GOT THE FISH!

I tried getting a picture of the kids in their green shirts and this was the "best" I got.

We packed a green picnic lunch too.
Shamrock sandwiches, green grapes, sour cream and onion pringles, apple juice in a green box, and lime jello.

After lunch we played on the playground for a bit.

Miss Ella Baby gave us a St. Patrick's Day Surprise!
She is in an open crib!!!!

After baby time, we went to Nonnie and Papa's for our traditional St. Patrick's day dinner and dessert.

We sang happy unbirthday to Ava. When she saw the pie, she requested candles and that we ding to her. Then she wanted us to sing to Ryan. LOL!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!!

I am one LUCKY lady if I say so myself!

Valentine's Day 2013

My heart is over flowing with LOVE!

Valentine's Day is extra special when you have children! We show our kids love every single day with hugs, kisses, a warm bed to sleep in, saying "I love you", having tickle fights, playing hide-n-seek, and just spending each and every minute we have with each other!

These two are worth every stressful, messy moment of my world!

All of the grandparents brought some Valentine's treats over for the kids.
They got candy and some extra spending money from Grandma and Papa Willetts.
Nonnie and Papa Chuck brought them coloring books, candy, stickers, and a few other goodies.
When Ava opened her Elmo coloring books she yelled, I LUUUBBB it!" and gave it a hug!

Mommy and Daddy wrapped up a few goodies too. Some squeenkies, coloring and painting supplies, a few fun bracelets (sports and princess) and a few other LOVE treats.

We set the self timer on the camera and had a little family photo shoot...we finally got it on the 5th or 6th try! Everyone thought it was hilarious! I'd say this one is pretty cute!!!

Mommy and Ella, 31 weeks

Colin made Daddy and heart out of gummy bears and icing! The way to my husbands heart...sour worms and Diet Dr Pepper!

We had our traditional heart shaped pizza for dinner with heart strawberries and red drinks.

While the kids were getting bathed and ready for bed, I hid hearts around the house for a "Heart Hunt". When we told Colin about it, he jumped up and down cheering! He loves stuff like this! :) I hid 33 hearts, so we told Colin he could ONLY find 23 and Ava would then get 10.

Mommy got the best gift of all!
A new CAR!!!!!
Yes, we "downsized" from a Navigator to a Traverse. We needed the captains chairs in the middle with an isle so Colin can get to the back seat easier with both of the girls in the middle.
I really LOVE this new car! It's a much better size for me. :)

Colin got an additional surprise while eating dessert...he found the baby in the KING cake!

Hope your Valentine's day was filled with LOVE too!...I know the Raimondo's did! :)
