curtain of hearts 2013

Last year we started our Curtain of Hearts tradition.
During the first weekend of Februaruay, Colin asked me if we were gong to make "that hanging heart thing" again. HA. He enjoys art projects and creating special thigns for our family and home. I cut several hearts and they were written on in no time. Colin's first heart was for Ava, he showed her and she said "Hey, that's Ava Rose". Then Ava worte one for "her borther" too!

Our list of love for 2013 is very simlar to last year's. We added, Ms. Maruri, Ella, and Aiden and Cooper.

After dinner and there baths, we found a place to show our love. Colin was a big help in taping and hanging up the Curtain of Hearts.

They are always giving each other hugs and kisses! Even when there isn't a camera around.

blowing eachother a kiss

silly faces!

Sending all sizes of Love and Sweetness!!!!

baked with love (and LOTS of SUGAR)

The kids loving cooking with Mommy, especially when it involves cookies!
We baked Valentine's Sugar Cookies with EXTRA love and SUGAR!

They requested Pink and Red frosting.

Ava taste tested every cookie she decorated.

Colin was doing good with the sprinkles but I looked away for like a second and then there was a MOUNTAIN of them!

Not sure if these are edible or not...

A few days later, we baked some pre-cut sugar cookies.

Happy Valentine's from my sweeties to yours!

Can't Stop Singing! (elmo live)

Nonnie treated Ava, Aunt Gina and I to Elmo Live earlier this month! We went last year and Ava had a blast but this year was EVEN BETTER!

Before we left, Nonnie surprised Sissy with an early Valentine's gift.

She may not look excited in this picture, but she was jumping and skipping up to the line. She brought her Baby Elmo along for the concert. :)

There was no extra play place this year so we had a few extra minutes to buy her "magic wand", find our AWESOME seats and have a snack.

Self Portrait time!

From beginning to end, Ava watched, danced and sang a long with Elmo and his friends. When the characters would go away to switch songs, she would ask where they went and start looking for them.

The Sesame Street gang changed the words to one of our family favorites, SHOUT, and we had a blast dancing and singing along!

Ava got another giant Elmo balloon during intermission!

The show started at 10:30, so Ava was still in a happy mood and wasn't too tired yet during the 2nd half of the show.

When she show ended she was sad and started to cry a little bit. :( She kept telling us that Elmo and Abby needed to come back out and sing more.

We have decided that Sesame Street Live will be an annual concert for the Willetts&Raimondo girls!
We can't wait to take 2 littles next year!
