Leap Year 2012

Happy Leap Year everyone!

When the kids came home from baseball practice they were surprised with a Leap Frog hunt and 2 yummy Leap Frog cookie treats! Colin was RUNNING through the house thying to find all of the hidden leap frogs. When he finally found all 12, he said "How did they all get everywhere like that?!". And Mommy answered, "Well, they must have LEAPED up there!". :) He then suggested that next time, they hide upstaris too so then the Leap Frog hunt would be REALLY hard.  Ava was more confused then excited (she was home sick today with an ear infection and pink eye so the frogs were nothing new to her).

Finding all those sneaky frogs sure did work up an appitite! We let the kids enjoy the Lea Frog dessert BEFORE dinner! GASP!! Yes, they still ate their dinner becasue we only let them eat 2 cookies.

Hope your day was LEAPING with fun too!

Valentine's Day 2012

Why am I SO FAR BEHIND on blogging about Valentine's Day...YIKES!
I think it's because every time I try and put together a post, I end up just looking and the pictures and reminiscing about all of the fun times we've had with this lovely holiday!
I put together a few simple collages of the past few years...

This year the valentine's day festivities were never ending! We baked cookies, made a heart pizza for dinner, opened gifts from Mommy and Daddy, Nonnie and Papa, AND Grandma and Papa, and embraced all of the LOVE God has granted us with!

Happy (National) Day of Love!!!!!

Happy Birthday Holly!

It felt more like April then February...

We split the "Super Bowl Sunday" parties at Colton and Maddie's (for the 1st half ) and Aunt Lindsay's (for the 2nd half)! Mommy made pigs n a blanket and Daddy baked a football cake.

Michael, Carter, Mikayla, Colin and Ava.... aka: BFF!

We celebrated Mardi Gras with a King Cake! Guess who found the baby?! ;0)

We helped The Martin family celebrate Mindy and new baby Sofia!

Poor Oscar cut his foot one Sunday afternoon and we rushed him the the ER. He came home with a wrapped foot, an antibiotic and some new doggy treats!

We met Uncle David (Robert's brother) and gave him a lot of entertainment {Bey Blades, playing chase through the living room and sticky-icing fingers}.

The Love and Laughter around here is contagious...

FEBRUARY BIRTHDAYS:
We celebrated Sarah's birthday with La Finca 'ritas and pie in the face ;0)

Chayse's 5th birthday was on the 20th so we had a little get togther at our house to celebrate!
The kids found the dress-up clothes (Colin's old Halloween costumes)...

We rented Puss in Boots for a movie night (which only lasted 20 minutes). For their movie snack the kids requested popcorn with skittles and M & M's mixed it!

And to complete our evening of FUN, the big kids found the iron-beads and created a blue Dolphin and a pink Sailboat. AND...Ava was happy to help... :0/

Kyle's birthday was on Saturday the 25th. The Pringle family invited us and others to celebrate at the Sugar Land Memorial park. It was FREEZING but we had a grat time anyway. :)

Uncle Andrew's birthday was on the 27th and we celebrated with a Raimondo family dinner at his house...Nicki included via Skype
