Ella Grace: {baby dedication}

Pete and I made a commitment a long time ago to raise our children in a Christ centered home, even before we were engaged to be married. God is always at the center of our home and decisions, especially when it comes to raising our children.

 

At our church, they host a baby dedication ceremony once a month. Colin was dedicated to Christ when he was an infant, Ava was dedicated at 9 months old and Ella at 7 months old. All three of our precious babies were dedicated on the stage at River Pointe Church! The same place where I meet the Love of my life and married him!!! RPC has a very special place in our hearts and played an enormous role in our life!

 

We will never be able to thank Anne (Beecroft) King enough for ALL of the amazing and wonderful things she has done for our family. I wish I had the time to tell our God orchestrated story! We were so honored and blessed to have Anne dedicate our beautiful angel baby, Ella on October 13! We could not have asked for a better ceremony to share with our family, friends, and church home! Anne brought us all to tears with her kind words, prayers and true emotions during the dedication.

My HEART is overflowing!

 

After church we went out for a family dinner to the Salt Grass Steakhouse. It was delicious and a perfect addition to celebrate Miss Ella Grace!

 

Nonnie & Papa bought Ella a beautiful cross for her room and Grandma & Papa gave her a check for her bank account. :)

 

 

Mommy tried to get a few pictures before we left for church of The Littles...

 

Family flashback: Ava's Baby Dedication

Colin didn't want to come on stage with us because he was nervous. :(

We held a lunch at The Swinging Door with our family and friends after the service.

 

Our daily life...LOL

 

 

God has truly watched over our family! We are more than thankful for all of his gracious blessings!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ella Grace: {6 months old)

Ella is LOVING eating food. :) We try and feed her the same time we are eating so we can all be on the same schedule. So far, so good!

And everything she's tried, she likes! YAY!

 

 

 

She hasn't figured out how to keep the crackers or puffs at her mouth. If it's by her thumb, she can get into her mouth. But she can't turn her hand and find the other side yet.

 

 

Her thumb is still the favorite...

she wont even put the binkie in her mouth now. Oh well!

She is still precious!

 

Notice how she has her thumb IN he binkie?! LOL

 

I tried 2 binkies...and lost.

 

SHE ROLLED OVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so fun!

 

Now that she can roll, she enjoys tummy time....finally!

 

Ella favorite thing to do is watch and "play" with her big brother and sister!

Ella Grace @ 6 months old:

drinking: 5-6 oz every 3 hours

eating: fruit and ride cereal for breakfast and a veggie for dinner

weighs 14 pounds!!!!!!! (Dr visit blog post coming soon)

diapers: Pampers Swaddlers size 1 during the day, size 2 at night (the 2s are still a little big but they work well for over night)

clothes: we are in 6 months clothes people! Not everything she wears is 6 months but most is.

 

Ella is growing more and more each day. As soon as she started eating foods, she has put on some chubbiness and we LOVE it! God has truly blessed us with this tiny angel. She is perfect in every way!!!!
