Mother's Day & Father's Day {2014}

 

This Mother's Day was mostly spent on the baseball field! But I didn't mind...we won 2nd place in that tournament!!! So proud of Colin and the Seven Lakes Tigers.

Then we went over the Nonnie and Papa's house for pool and BBQ fun!

We took Grandma out for dinner at Fuddruckers's another evening.

 

 

 

On Father's Day we were in Buffalo (more on that later!) and had a non-stop day.

Then we went to Uncle Dave and Aunt Becky's for BBQ and four wheelers!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And finished the night off with a drive-in movie!

Last Day of School 2014!!!!

 

Everyone was excited for the LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!!!!

 

 

We tried to recreate the first day pictures but we were not too successful...

And Ava didn't want to take a picture by the front door.

 

 

 

We celebrated with Starbucks!

 

The little kids had a fun day at Ms. Kendall's...

 

After school we surprised the kids with a few summer fun gifts!  

(crocs, beach towels, dripstix (popsicle holders), water guns, etc) 

 

They took a picture with their favorite item.

Every year on the last day, we let Colin choose were we go to dinner.

He picked Buffalo Wild Wings.

Last year he picked Lupe Tortilla.

 

We invited Jade and his family to come along. After dinner the boys went to the movies and saw Million Dollar Arm. 

 

 

The adults had a little celebration of our own! We went out for dinner and drinks at Alicia's and Borders in Katy. I love these 2 so much and am tremendously thankful for all of their/our teamwork his year!

 

 

 

Now to enjoy our 10 week summer break!!!!

 

 

 

 

 



Second Grade Stories: Celebrating Colin

 

The month of May was very busy celebrating all of the kids' accomplishments....especially for Colin.
