New Years 2013

To celebrate New Years Eve we invited our family and BFFs, the Carter's, over for Chili, fireworks, dessert and some quality time.

I baked "firework cupcakes" with sprinkles and pop rocks as toppings.
The kids got a big kick out of the pop rocks!

Celebrating with their noisemakers and glow bracelets!

The rain let up for alittle while so we were able to pop off all of the fireworks.
Ava was not a fan...She stayed outside for a few minutes then went in with Grandma and watched though the window.

At 10 PM midnight we celebrated the new year with a balloon drop and some sparkling grape juice.
The kids were so excited about the balloons! They were yelling and jumping up and down like crazy people when the balloons were falling down!

CHEERS!

Happy 2013! We are very much looking forward to the blessings and big events coming our way!

Please excuse this horrible picture! It was after fireworks and was almost 11:00!

Snow in Katy!?

A nearby church wanted to deliver a special holiday treat to their families....SNOW!

They separated the kids by age group and boy, did they have fun!!!

Ava needed some encouragement from Uncle Robert

She went in and out a few times.
Her 2nd time, Daddy showed her how to make a mini snowman.

The boys didn't stop for 1 second. Of course, we forgot to bring Colin any gloves, so his hands were freezing!

After our snow night, we went to La Finca for dinner.
As usual, Ava was the star of the show.

We had a great time with the snow, but I'm glad we could leave it there and not have to shovel it out of our driveways. :)

November 2012

Putting these pictures together made November seem FOREVER away. Man, how time flies!

Misty tool the kids to see The Wizard of Oz in Sugar Land.
They really loved it and are asking to go back to another show.

Seriously...these 2 are too much!

Colin and Ava both at at 2 1/2 years old

A house divided....

The boys taking pictures of their muscles...LOL

We had a cousins date at Chuy's

Pete had a surprise for me when I got home from school....

I didn't let him keep it too long...like 5 minutes!

We celebrated Colton and Maddie's 7th birthday.
(Legos and Crafts)

Ava "helped" me with laundry one afternoon...
She is getting too big her her britches!

This might be one of the most precious pictures of ALL TIME!

Potty training Ariel!

Now that football season is over, Saturday mornings we much more relaxed.

...and Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

Penny stayed with us for a few nights. :)
She is very spoiled at our house.

The kids made their Christmas wish lists.

We honored our Veteran's, including my Dad!

We got ready for Aunt Nick's wedding, little by little.

The November weather was all of the place. Mostly hot, but we DID get to light our first fire!

Our street has a pink flamingo friend that house hops every few days.
Now she is wearing a tutu, necklaces, big sunglasses and a Hawaiian lea.

"craft time" happens often in our house

We met up with Ava's BFF, Chloe, for dinner and play time.

Mommy and Daddy went to a fundraiser event for Colin's school.

Daddy just HAD TO sit with Colin in the back one night on the way to a dinner out.

We celebrated Mikayla's 6th birthday at Monkey Joe's.
Ava wasn't a fan of the bounce houses.

My Kindergarten team/class celebrated Thanksgiving with a parade and feast.

Ava is such a good big sister...

The kids helped decorate (a little) the house for Christmas.

Aunt Nicki and I put together some Christmas gifts for her YoungLife girls.

Team Rodriguez!!!
This was 1 month before the BIG DAY!

How may Willetts can you fit on a Skype screen?!
