Buffalo Family Vaca 2014 {traveling}

When we planning our family vacation to Buffalo, it took awhile to coordinate all 10 of us! But we figured it all out and were able to ALL fly on the same flight to Buffalo, minus Andrew...he has plans to travel in August.
There were so many "chapters" to our day...getting to the airport, parking, park and ride, checking in, security (they checked the stroller as if I was smuggling something in it!), waiting to board, the actual flights, diaper changes and bathroom breaks ON THE PLANE, switching planes, delays, baggage claim, driving to grandma's... Seriously...LONGEST DAY EVER!

This kids did great, Ella was past around to everyone's laps, Colin played the I-Pad most of the time and Ava listened to music and colored. We had a two hour delay in Chicago which put us in Buffalo after 11 PM! We were all exhausted and didn't get to bed until 1 AM.

Here are a few pictures from our flights TO Buffalo...I think back and can not believe we all survived with out hating each other. LOL.

The flight home was just as crazy! We booked the later flight home on a Monday but that did not work out AT ALL. There was something "electronic" wrong with the plane and there was no estimated time frame for when it would be finished. This was announced after were at the Buffalo airport for an hour AND we were in line to board. So...we went ahead and rescheduled to leave the next morning, Tuesday, and go back to Grandma's house for the night. Luckily, Grandma lives within 10 minutes from the airport and we still had the rental car!

They each bought a Buffalo/Bison from the airport gift shop!

When we finally got to Houston, and it's 125 degree heat, our first stop was Chic-Fil-A!!! Then to get our sweet pup from Adam and Misty's. He was so excited to see us! When he ran out the door, it was like my child running, and smiling with excitement down the sidewalk. I cried...of course!

Wow...reliving ALL of that gave me a little anxiety...
