Father's day weekend was FULL of celebrating Daddy and both Papas!
Colin helped me pick out and put together Daddy's gift.
(a Detroit Lions mug filled with sour gummy worms and sour patch kids)
We gave both Papas this photo framed!
(thanks Nonnie for the PRECIOUS idea!)
Papa Chuck was also surprised with this new friend!
On Saturday, the boys went to a father-son Lego's event at Toys R Us.
Colin is really into Lego's right now and has always been a fan of super heroes,
so this was a perfect fathers day treat for both of them!
Saturday evening, RPC hosted a Classic Car Show before service so we took advantage of this free activity too!
My LOVES before church.
After church we went to dinner with Papa and Grandma for a Father's Day dinner.
We tried going to Texas Road house but the wait was 1 1/2! So we settled on Crackle Barrel instead.
Sunday morning everybody (except Mommy) slept-in until 9:30!
Happy Fathers Day to me! ;0)
The kids wanted to give Daddy his gifts right away...
After we showered Daddy with cards and candy gifts,
the kids helped me make pancakes.
I cut up some fruit and we turned our pancakes into "people"!
Daddy enjoyed it too! I was laughing at him at one point because he was smiling while decorating. LOL!
The people pancakes turned out delicious!
The kids we being so so so SILLY...maybe it had to do with the fact they were eating whipped cream, syrup and fruit for breakfast.
On Sunday afternoon and evening, we spent the day next to Nonnie and Papa Chuck's pool!
Dad is ODD.
Just in case you were wondering...yes, he is wearing his (new) socks with scandals dancing with Ava to Justin Bieber! HA!
