Easter 2013

The Easter Bunny was SO EXCITED to fill 3 Easter baskets this year...YES, 3!!!
Colin and Ava got fishing poles, a few coloring and candy items, CARS drifters, an Ariel toy car, lip glosses and bubbles. All 3 of the kids got a little bunny. :)

Ella got a fish toy, bubbles, hair bows/clips, and an Elmo brush.

Ava was the first one awake and while she waited for Bubby to wake up, she played with Baby Ella.

Time to open our easter baskets!

They are very eager to go fishing again with Papa!

It took everything in them to wait and hunt for the Easter eggs. Every year the bunny brings more and MORE eggs! Ava followed Colin around for a minute or two but then realized he was getting to all of the eggs first. Once she went on her own, she was much happier. :)

The eggs were filled with starburst, sweet tarts and skittles.
Sugar Hugh anyone?!

For our traditional Easter morning breakfast, we cracked and ate the dyed eggs the kids made and pigs-n-a-blanket. Colin was POSITIVE that he was going to win the egg breaking contest....
when he and Ava bumped eggs, HERS DIDN'T crack!

you can see his pouty lip...

round 2...

Colin's egg cracked again so when he bumped eggs with Daddy, he used Ella's egg.

For the rest of the morning, we enjoyed the Spring weather, blowing bubbles, rediscovering ALL of the treats in their baskets and spending some QT with our favorite Easter gift of all...Ella Grace!

My girls are the MOST precious things I EVER DID SEE!
This pictures melts my heart and will cherish these sweet moments forever.

Before dinner we had a little family of FIVE photo shoot.

Pete and I hosted Easter dinner at our house for both the Willetts and Raimondos.

Colin and Uncle Andrew played Yahtzee over and over and over again. They were having a blast and a few math lessons all at once. :)

Papa taught Ava how to fish! She was LOVING cashing out down the entrance hallway and "catching people fish".

Papa and Grandma held Ella for the 1st time!

We ate a traditional ham dinner with bunny cake and homemade carrot cake for dessert (thanks, mom!).
Hope your Easter was just as AWESOME as ours. :)
