Fall Family Fun!

Aunt Gina's school hosted an annual fall festival on October 27th.
We took the kids after church and they had a fantastic time!
...even though they don't look like it in this picture. LOL.

There was a petting zoo, face painting, balloon animals, laser tag, games and a trick or treat trail.

Colin is so giant!

They picked a rattle snake and heart-flower!

For his face paint, Colin wanted a Texans Bull, then a Baseball, then a Ware wolf...and this is what he got. A tiger with glitter and "lipstick". He hated it and washed it off in the bathroom immediately...

Why does he look like an angry teenager?!
"Mommmmmmm....another picture?! GEEZ!"

New Years 2013

To celebrate New Years Eve we invited our family and BFFs, the Carter's, over for Chili, fireworks, dessert and some quality time.

I baked "firework cupcakes" with sprinkles and pop rocks as toppings.
The kids got a big kick out of the pop rocks!

Celebrating with their noisemakers and glow bracelets!

The rain let up for alittle while so we were able to pop off all of the fireworks.
Ava was not a fan...She stayed outside for a few minutes then went in with Grandma and watched though the window.

At 10 PM midnight we celebrated the new year with a balloon drop and some sparkling grape juice.
The kids were so excited about the balloons! They were yelling and jumping up and down like crazy people when the balloons were falling down!

CHEERS!

Happy 2013! We are very much looking forward to the blessings and big events coming our way!

Please excuse this horrible picture! It was after fireworks and was almost 11:00!

christmas with the grandparents

Grandma and Papa came over with Aunt Janeen and Derek on Christmas day for gifts and lunch.
Ava was yelling and saying "YAY! Ariel..." as she opened her gift! She also got a "Dollie and Me" doll and named her Alex. Alex is her first "big sister" doll! SO precious!

Was just also excited and yelling "YAY!" when he opened his new helicopter.
"It's what I wanted!!!"

The kids made Reindeer Hand print Ornaments for all of the grandparents.
Naturally, they loved the gifts!

We spent the afternoon playing with the new toys and enjoying the nice summer Christmas weather!

We had Christmas at their house on the 27th when Uncle Jamie and the rest of the family were in town.

the 3 loves of my life!

Aunt Melissa and Uncle Jamie know how to make their niece and nephew smile!

On Christmas Day evening, we went over the Nonnie and Papa's house for Christmas dinner and gifts. We had a traditional ham feast and topped it off with homemade Christmas cookies! Nonnie makes THE BEST cookies! Wish we could convince her to make them all year round. ;0)

Nonnie sewed Ava a diaper bag for her babies (and for when she becomes a big sister). There were a few extra surprises inside. Boy, does she LOVE that bag! She always has is stocked with diapers, 2 bottles, clothes, and a few toys (mostly little princesses).

Aunt Gina got a new bag too!

Ava's "big gift" was a changing table for her babies!
We spent the next several days changing her babies into new diapers and clothes.

Andrew and I have the same picture from Thanksgiving and plan to take a third and final one after Easter dinner.

Colin's Christmas with Nonnie and Papa was a few days later.
We have already used his new games and puzzles a few times each!

Uncle Andres bought him a "switch blade" comb! Colin thinks it is AWESOME! lol

Anyone up for a game of 'Head Bandz'?!
We had a lot of laughs going on!!! Great gift Uncle Andrew.

Ava and Uncle Andres always have a good tickle fight or two before the night is over!

Merry Christmas from the Raimondo's!!!

The Christmas holiday sure was fun but MAN, was it tiring!
