Summer Camp 2013: {baseball camp}

Colin, Cooper and Aiden took part in a week long baseball camp hosted by the Katy High Schools.
We did this same camp last year and the boys really enjoyed it!

Day 1:

The girls and I stayed to cheer on Bubby for a little while.
It was HOT HOT HOT!

Day 3:

Day 4:

Ava learned how to eat sunflower seeds...thanks Matt!

She is a Mother Hen...

They were excited to get the "report card" at the end of camp!
Colin's MPH should read 45!

We are always very proud of our All Star, Colin!

Ava's Swim Class

Ava has been enrolled in swim classes for a few months now. We started them while I was on maternity leave.
We bought her a new suit and cover-up just for her new big girl simming class!

At first, Mommy went with her to get her comfortable with Ms. Maggy and the pool.

Every time the class was over, she would cry because she wasn't ready to get out! She's a little fish. :)

When Mommy went back to work, we switched her lessons to an evening class with Ms. Abby.
Ava was more and more comfortable with every class.

She HAS TO wear her goggles when she goes under water. :)

When summer hit, we changed her class (again) to a morning class back with Ms. Maggy!

Maggy is amazing and Ava loves her and swim class!
She looks foreword to every Wednesday morning :) Her favorite parts are the monkey walks (along the side of the pool), floating and practicing the "chicken, star, rocket ship", and diving in to get the ring.

Ava still can't swim with out help/floaties but she is very comfortable in the water and can ALMOST FLOAT!
We plan to keep Ava enrolled in swim lessons until she can 100% swim on her own, for survival and fun.

May 2013

Now that it is mid July...I have FINALLY posted about May!

I found a Valentine from God! :)

Our daily life involves Ava and Ella snuggle and cuddle time!

tickle tickle!

Ava would stare at Colin the same way...

nap time!

Ava likes being a Mommy too!
Luckily we have two baby bajorns

bathed, blankets, binkies and Backyardagains

Uncle Andrew FINALLY held Ella!
He was waiting for her to get a little bigger and not be so "fragile".

We "celebrated" Cinco de Mayo with Nonnie and Papa.
Daddy was out of town :(

My girls are wearing Easter and 4th of July outfits for Cinco de Mayo...cool...

I went back to work on May 6th!
I brought extra coffee and was so sad to leave the girls. I knew they were in GREAT hands with Nonnie and Papa but I'd rather it be me!

My students and Mrs. Potter are the sweetest!!

Ava must have known something was up  because she woke up at 4:30 AM ready to go!
Nonnie sent me this pic at 7:30 AM, it made me smile!

I would get pictures of the girls often while I finished out the school year with my kiddos.
Ava went to Kendall's W, Th, and F and stayed with Nonnie &  Papa on M, and Tues.
Ella got spoiled with Nonnie and Papa everyday at their house. :)

The Friday before I went back to work, we had lunch with Bubby, went to Mommy's school and spent time at Nonnie & Papa's house (again :) ).

We celebrated Papa Al's birthday at Chili's

We love Baseball!
Pete and I went on a date night to the Skeeters game.

Then the boys went to an Astros game.

We had a mini photo shoot one evening after bath time...

Ella and Ava just get cuter and prettier with everyday!
I've been told that I take too many pictures.... ;0/

Yes, she has a Cinderella doll in her hair as a bow!

Paddy was out of town for a WEEK and one night THE POWER WENT OUT in our entire neighborhood! So, we packed up, dog and all, and went to Nonnie and Papa's house for the night.

When he came home, he brought Colin a new Pirates hat.

Uncle Andrew took Colin on a boys date to see Epic at the new Palladium!
They ran into one of our neighbors, Sonny.

We spent the rest of that Saturday playing ladder ball, swimming and helping in the garden!

We spent part of Memorial day weekend with the Carters! We brought our blow up water slide for some water fun and ate some delicious BBQ.

Then we went to Jack, Kayla and Zoey's for MORE pool time...and I only took one picture...OOPS!

Colin and Ava were playing with bouncy balls and she laid down and told him to bounce them around her. Hilarious!

Ava got new shoes

Movie Nights are always a favorite!

Ready for some (flag) football!

Mommy got all fancy for her Kindergarten Celebration at work/school.

Oscar had some random swollen spot on the side of his face for a few days.

Maddie held Ella for the first time!

Colin is the sweetest big brother and is always thinking about his sisters!

We tried to beat the heat a few days and play outside but it didn't last long...

Only 20 a few more posts to catch up on!
Wish me luck!
